Where the readers are

  • Bell, S. (2005, Fall). Where the readers are. NetConnect. pp. 8-14.Retrieved from General OneFile database.
As this article was published in 2005, when there were no so many library blogs as today. According to the survey the author did, in 2005, only 10% of students who responded to the survey used or read blogs. In 2009, most studnets use or read blogs online or through cell phones. So you may think it's an old story but I liked this article. This article is one of the earliest articles about library blogs, and the article still enlightens us in many ways. The author suggests some tips to raise our blogs "above a repetitive blur of mandane announcement and news item" (p.12) . What a blog read by students needs regualr update, quality contents, diversity, swiftness, staying focused.
